Taylor Guitars 456ce SLTD 2014. The cutaway 12-string 456ce showcases solid African Ovangkol’s responsive, rosewood-like tone, which pairs well with Sitka spruce and can accommodate a range of playing styles. Like all Taylor models, the sleek profile and low action of the neck makes our 12-strings incredibly comfortable to play, with crisp tonal separation. White binding applies a clean counterpoint, while an all-gloss finish on the body enhances Ovangkol’s beautiful variegation. Taylor’s onboard Expression System® 2 acoustic electronics respond with high-fidelity amplified acoustic sound that will make any performance or recording shine Learn More

A truly unique voice, the Baritone 8-String complements the lower tonal range by pairing two octave strings with the third and fourth strings, adding a touch of upper-octave brightness without too much 12-string jangle. The result is a guitar with incredible tonal range, perfect for walking basslines and rich melodies. All Taylor baritones feature a GS body and are tuned to B with a longer 27-inch scale length, which maintains normal string tension. Two wood combinations are available for the 8-String: either Indian rosewood or mahogany, with a Sitka spruce top. Learn More

A premium upgrade to Taylor’s popular Grand Auditorium ovangkol/spruce 414ce substitutes much rarer Engelmann spruce in place of Sitka. Engelmann’s appealing tonal properties yield a mature, played-in sound right out of the case, with a slightly richer midrange than Sitka. Together with the rosewood-like tonal range of ovangkol and Taylor’s Performance bracing, players will love the overall volume, warmth and sustain, with signature Taylor balance and clarity across the entire tonal spectrum. A shaded edgeburst adds another unique touch, wrapping the entire body in warm, neo-vintage character. Other featured details include Italian acrylic dot fretboard inlays, white binding, a full-gloss body, Taylor nickel tuners, a Venetian cutaway, and Taylor’s Expression System® 2 electronics. The guitar features a Special Edition label inside and ships with a Taylor deluxe hardshell case. Learn More
