Designed with one of contemporary Christian music's most prolific and celebrated artists, the Steven Curtis Chapman Signature Model (SCCSM) is based on the Grand Auditorium 714 that has long been Chapman's favorite acoustic guitar for recording and performance. The guitar features Indian rosewood back and sides, a tobacco sunburst cedar top, and Indian rosewood binding. The fretboard and headstock inlay designs honor Chapman's daughter Maria, who passed away in 2008 at the age of 5. Both inlays are recreations of Marias drawings. The headstock inlay is a flower with a single petal colored in blue, while the fretboard design features a mother-of-pearl butterfly in at the 12th fret, accompanied by the word "SEE" in Maria's handwriting. Pearl fret marker dots are aligned along the bass side. Other features include an abalone rosette, abalone-dotted bridge pins, and Taylor Expression System electronics. Each SCCSM comes with a custom guitar label and a certificate of authenticity personally signed by Chapman. Learn More

This is another custom Taylor that we put together on our last visit to the Taylor factory where we were presented with some amazing "off menu" wood sets like the Zebrano featured on this guitar. For those of you not familiar with Zebrano (also known as Zebra wood) it's about the same density as Rosewood with very similar tonal characteristics but to my ear it has a bit more clarity and projection. This guitar has rich, clean, even punchy bass response with sparkling highs but the mids have not been forgotten either. As good as this guitar looks, it's the tone that blew us away Learn More

This full custom Taylor features Grand Auditorium (GA) body with handpicked Lurelwood back, sides and Western Red Cedar top. Laurelwood possesses a tremendous tap tone and produces top of the line guitars, with rich overtones, brilliant trebles, and a clean, puchy bass response. Combindes with the select Cedar top, these wood sets bring out the full potential of the Taylor GA body. We predict that this is a guitar that will be a lot by it's new owner Learn More
