This handsome limited edition Grand Auditorium showcases a back and sides of blackheart sassafras, whose dramatic color variegation makes each set of wood truly one-of-a-kind. The tone profile of sassafras blends the clarity and woodiness of mahogany with extra midrange and top-end overtones, while the Sitka spruce soundboard yields extra sonic headroom and fullness thanks to Adirondack spruce bracing. Together with our versatile Grand Auditorium body, this beauty will handle a diverse range of playing styles. Unique details include a sharp Florentine cutaway and premium appointments: rosewood Capstone fretboard inlays outlined in mother-of-pearl, a rosewood/mother-of-pearl rosette, rosewood binding with curly maple top edge trim, a rosewood back strip, and Gotoh Gold tuners, with Taylor’s award-winning Expression System® 2 electronics for rich amplified tone. The model features a limited edition guitar label and ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case Learn More

Quilted sapele’s unique figure adds a natural aesthetic flair to this limited edition cutaway Grand Auditorium. Sapele’s clear tone profile is similar to mahogany, with a splash of upper register chime, while the Sitka spruce top’s premium Adirondack spruce CV bracing bolsters the volume and sonic fullness across the tonal spectrum. Other premium features include a dramatic Florentine cutaway, a new rosewood/mother-of-pearl Capstone fretboard inlay, single ring rosewood/mother-of-pearl rosette, rosewood binding with curly maple top edge trim, rosewood back strip, and Gotoh Gold tuners, with Taylor’s natural-sounding Expression System® 2 electronics for rich amplified tone. The guitar features a limited edition guitar label and ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case Learn More

This a Taylor BTO's we built back in 2011. This guitar was inspired by our love for the simple pre war guitars of days gone by so we chose satin finished Mahogany for the back and sides and soundboard along with simple but elegant Rosewood binding. We left the fretboard markers off for a clean look and had the Taylor custom shop set it up with bone nut and saddle. We also left off the electronics but of course we can have them installed anytime Learn More
