We accept most credit cards, Paypal, bank wire transfer, and all certified checks.
We offer a three day inspection period on all of our guitars that were in stock when you purchased it which means if for any reason you decide not to keep the guitar you just need to ship it back within 72 hours of receipt in the exact same condition as when we shipped it off. This means no modifications at all including action adjustment or string changes unless these mods were pre approved. Guitars special ordered for you cannot be returned but we will always try to work something out in case you are not 100% satisfied.
In case of a return the actual outgoing shipping charges will be deducted from the refund regardless of the shipping charges in the purchase price, and insured return shipping will be the buyers responsibility. We have no restocking fee but there is a 3% processing fee that will be lost so we will have to deduct it from the refund. After 72 hours all sales will be considered final.
New Guitar Warranty
On new items all warranty are provided by the manufacturer only but we will work with you and the manufacturer to make sure everything goes smoothly in case of a problem. Bottom line you bought the guitar from us.
Our consignment fee is based on 20% but unlike other guitar shops we do not pass on any fees to you. You will be guaranteed what you will receive for your guitar before we even list it!
As an example, if your guitar is valued at $1000, you will receive a check for $800 as soon as the new owners 3-day inspection period is up. All credit card, Paypal, shipping, and even eBay or chat room fees should we decide to also offer your guitar there will come out of our end. We will get you top dollar for your guitar without nickel-and-diming you to death.
In addition, our website has been online since 2002 specializing in used guitars so you can bet collectors hit this site every day. Just take a look at our sold section to see the huge amount of guitars we sold in the last few years alone. And because we specialize in Internet sales, we don't rely on someone maybe coming in to the store to make a sale, and your guitar will not be on display for any teenager to try. Our clients are serious buyers.
We will need a 20% down payment and unless otherwise agreed upon items must be paid in full within 120-days via regular monthly or bi-monthly payments. All payments are considered non refundable, and in the event payment in full is not completed within 120-days the customer will be charged a restocking fee of 30% of the price of the item, any additional moneys on account can be used for store credit only.
Our shipping fee is based on using UPS insured ground service but we will gladly ship any other way including using USPS or FedEx should you prefer. Just let us know what you would prefer and we will quote you the shipping fee using that service.
By purchasing products and/or services from this Site, you agree to be bound by and accept our terms and conditions. Orders are not binding until accepted by LA Guitar Sales. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. LA Guitar Sales will indicate its acceptance of an order by acknowledging your order by reply email or by shipping the ordered items to you.
